Fabric Couches

How to protect your fabric couch

We strongly recommend that you have fabric protection applied sofas. If your couch doesn’t have fabric protection, spills will be quickly absorbed into the fabric, possibly resulting in a permanent stain.

General care

Dressing your couch

• Puff back and seat cushions regularly.
• Switch loose seat cushions regularly from left to right.
• Dress cushions regularly to ensure that all seams are neat and tidy.

Maintenance tips

• Vacuum regularly to prevent dust from settling into the fabric. This also reduces fabric pilling.
• Avoid direct sunlight or harsh lighting; keep away from heat sources.

Fabric pilling

• Pilling may occur for the first few months, depending on the strength of the fibres.
• Vacuum often for the first few months to remove loose fibres while the fabric settles.
• Should your fabric develop pills, use a fluff shaver to trim them.
